Currently the Chief Operating Officer of Setia Haruman, Mr. Lao Chok Keang has more than 20 years experience in the property industry. Mr. Lao has held various senior management positions in property development and investment companies such as Saujana Triangle Sdn Bhd.

As COO of Setia Haruman, Mr. Lao is responsible for the company’s overall performance.

Ms. Wendy Li
Head, Finance

The Finance department is responsible for the following work areas:

Financial reporting, accounting systems, project costing, budget and preparation, creditor management, taxation, corporate finance, financial modelling, loan management, banking related matters and cash management.

Encik Abdul Aziz Shaari
General Manager, Corporate Affairs

The Corporate Affairs Division consists of three departments, namely:

1. Site Maintenance Department;
2. Security Department; and
3. Land Matters

Site Maintenance Department
This department is responsible for the upkeep of infrastructure in the Cyberjaya Flagship Zone (CFZ) such as sewerage treatment plants, landscaping, drainage, roads, street lightings and general maintenance of completed retail properties prior to handing vacant possession to purchasers.

Security Department
Daily patrols around CFZ is carried out by this department to ensure that there are no illegal activities such as dumping of debris, theft and trespassing (human and/or livestock).

Land Matters
This department is tasked for the timely and expedient issuance of land and strata titles by Pejabat Tanah & Galian, Selangor. This department acts as a liaison to Majlis Daerah and Pejabat Tanah Sepang for various approvals relating to land matters.

Encik Ahmad Khairi Khairuddin
Assistant General Manager, Legal & Corporate Services

The Legal & Corporate Services Department consists of two divisions, namely:

i. Legal & Corporate Services Division; and
ii. Human Resource and Administration Division

Legal & Corporate Services Division
This Division handles a range of legal and secretarial matters of the Company. It is staffed with three trained lawyers who in between them have over 40 years of legal training in the private practice as well as the corporate world. Besides drafting legal documents and attending to litigation matters, the Division also liaises with the external solicitors on the strategies to adopt in respect of litigation matters, with the external company secretary in relation to secretarial matters and provides services to other departments of the Company with regard to any queries on legal matters.

Human Resource and Administration Division
This Division is responsible in recruitment and selection processes for the company. It coordinates all job advertisement, arranges and conducts all interviews with the Head of other departments of the Company. Another important task of this Division is to arrange appropriate trainings for staff and carrying out general administration duties for the Company.

The core task of the business development department is managing all aspects of sales process for developable land parcels in Cyberjaya which comprise of Enterprise, Commercial, Residential and Institutional in addition to the ready office buildings to our valued prospects/investors.

Pn. Mariyana Ma’aris BSc. MRICS,AB.PEPS
Head, Property Management

The department manages 15 buildings which totals to 1 million sq. ft. in size, owned by Setia Haruman including offices, retail, a transport terminal, medical college and the City Command Centre.

The Department consists of three sections, namely:

i. Marketing;
ii. Maintenance; and
iii. Accounts

The work covers marketing of vacant units, rental billing and collection, maintenance of M & E equipment in the buildings, preparation of yearly budget and upgrading works inter alia.

Mr. Liew Yeon Keong
Assistant General Manager, Sales & Marketing

This department undertakes the planning, development, marketing and selling of the residential and commercial properties developed and/or built by Setia Haruman in Cyberjaya to end purchasers.

Encik Rodzi Ahmad
Assistant General Manager, Operations.

This company is responsible for the development of ICT infrastructure (Fibre Optic and Wireless), broadband services, application and system development and project management (system integrator).
